otherwise for the sale of vehicles or any transactions that are the result of ads placed or
viewed on this site. Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. does not make any claims or guarantees that your
car will sell as a result of placing an ad on this site. Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. does not claim
ownership of the ads placed or their contents. You, the user, place ads entirely at your own
risk. You agree to limit the contents of your ads to appropriate words and phrases. You agree
not to include words and phrases which are profane or objectionable.
1.2 Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. is not a dealer, nor do we buy cars or sell cars as a business. All ads
posted on this site are the responsibility of the individual placing the ad. Autos4Dollars.com,
Inc. does not write these ads, nor are we responsible for the wording or content of these ads.
Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. does not monitor responses to ads, nor do we have knowledge of or
participate in any transactions regarding the purchase or sale of cars listed on this site. All
negotiations and transactions are the exclusive responsibility of the parties involved, namely
the buyer and seller.
1.3 Use common sense when placing or responding to ads. Be truthful in your advertising. Don't
misrepresent yourself or your car. Any and all financial transactions related to ads placed or
viewed on this site are your responsibility. Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. cannot and will not be held
responsible for any business conducted between you and another party as a result of ads placed or
viewed on this site, nor can we give specific advice, legal or otherwise, for such business or
transactions. As a general rule, you should avoid making any transaction which is suspicious,
involves large sums of money over and above the value of goods or appears to be illegal or
fraudulent. Beware of scams, the internet can be a dangerous place to do business.
Use the following guidelines when selling your car:
1. Never agree to accept a cashiers check for an amount greater than the purchase price and then
refund the difference. These offers sound tempting but are usually a scam.
2. It is best to do business with a local buyer. Exporting a vehicle can be complicated. Remember
that used cars are in high demand so there should be plenty of buyers in your own area.
3. Do not transfer title or release the vehicle to the buyer until you have the equivalent of
cash. Remember that checks and money orders can take up to 30 days to clear. If you are paid by
certified or cashiers check, call the issuing bank to verify that the check is valid. Do not
rely on a phone number given to you by the purchaser but instead obtain the number of the issuing
bank from a reliable source such as the phone book.
4. Report fraudulent activity to your local police department or law enforcement agency.
1.4 Buyer - If you are a buyer, make sure that the seller has title and the right to sell
the car. Protect yourself by doing a title and lien check.
You agree not to misrepresent yourself by posing as a buyer in order to defraud or otherwise
bring injury or harm to anyone who has placed a classified ad on this site.
1.5 Seller - If you are a seller, you must have the right to sell the car. If you sell
your car, make sure you get paid. If necessary, ask your bank manager to help you with the
transaction or get legal advice. Watch out for scams. If it sounds too good to be true, it
probably is.
You agree to provide an accurate and truthful representation of your vehicle in all
advertising.
You agree not to misrepresent yourself by posing as a seller through a classified ad on this
site in order to defraud or otherwise bring injury or harm to anyone who responds to your ad.
2. Spam
Users placing a classified or picture ad acknowledge and accept that their e-mail address may be
publicly displayed and agree to hold Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. harmless against any and all claims
with respect to privacy issues and/or e-mail abuse. Users placing an ad grant
Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. permission (opt in) to use their e-mail address for promotional purposes
including inclusion in mailing lists generated by the company and/or by third parties.
3. Third Party Links
Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. provides third party links to other websites
which provide products or services. We do not operate any of these websites and we are not
associated with any of the companies operating these websites or any of the products or services
offered by these companies. We do not make any claims or guarantees for or endorse any of these
companies or the products or services offered. Users will not hold Autos4Dollars.com, Inc.
liable for business conducted with third party links listed on this site. You agree to release
Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. from any damages suffered from the use of such products or services.
You agree not to make any claims against Autos4Dollars.com, Inc. as a result of damages or losses

by Ontario law. By using this website, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts

4.4 This agreement may be changed or amended from time to time as required to reflect changes in
